World atopic eczema day, 14th of September 2020

On September 14, 2020, we mark the already third World Atopic Eczema Day, dedicated to improving the awareness and understanding of atopic dermatitis and showing respect to those living with the illness and their families. The World Atopic Eczema Day connects everyone who carry the consequences of the illness and encourages them to share their experiences, reach out to the community and demand change.

On Monday, September 14, 2020, Institute Atopika, in cooperation with the international organisation Global Skin (of which Institute Atopika is a member) and the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients Association, will spread awareness about atopic dermatitis in the Maribor city centre, giving you the opportunity to also consult a doctor about your skin condition.

On Saturday, September 19, 2020, in light of the World Atopic Eczema Day, we will organise a congress for the patients with atopic dermatitis, their loved ones and the general public.

The purpose of the event will be to offer help and support to atopic dermatitis patients and their families, encourage research activity in the field of atopic dermatitis, spreading awareness amongst the general public and bringing patients in touch with doctors and other experts.

We will inform the media about our activities on the World Atopic Eczema Day before all our events will take place. All lectures by our chosen experts, workshops and other events will be free of charge. You will only be required to sign up for the lectures beforehand.
